Friday marked the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the Armenian Genocide. Between 1915 and 1923, about 1.5 million Armenians were killed by Ottoman Turks.

Those lives were remembered in Las Vegas and around the world Friday. At Sunset Park, a groundbreaking for a permanent memorial to the victims was held.

All the dancers were amazing. They are very proud to be Armenians.
